Daniel Schommer (born August 21, 1981 in Saarbrücken ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Schommer mostly played in the second team at 1. FC Saarbrücken . On the 34th matchday of the second division season 2000/01 Schommer came in the 88th minute of play for Leontin Grozavu to his only professional appearance in his career. In 2002 he left Saarbrücken and moved to SV 07 Elversberg . At Elversberg, Schommer did not manage to stay in the regular formation for a long time. In five years he only managed 68 missions.

In the summer break of 2007, he moved to the former league club SV Waldhof Mannheim on a free transfer . The left-back was from the 2007/08 season to the end of the 2008/09 season with the Baden regional league club SV Waldhof Mannheim under contract.

For the 2009/10 season Schommer moved to Borussia Neunkirchen in the Oberliga Südwest. After two seasons, Viktoria Jägersburg joined the Saarland league club FSV . At the end of the 2014/15 season he rose with his team in the Oberliga Rheinland-Pfalz / Saar . He ended his career in 2017.
