Daniel Steiner (* 1973 in Rheda-Wiedenbrück ) is an Austrian film director and actor .

Life

After Daniel Steiner graduated from the University of Leeds with a bachelor's degree in broadcasting in 1996 and completed some internships and production assistants in English film and television, he studied commercial directing at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy from 1997 to 2003 . He finished his studies with a diploma .

Daniel Steiner has been working as a freelance director, author and actor since 2002 . He has already produced various Internet series and advertising films, including for the food Pringles and the music magazine Spex . He also shot music videos , including for the musician Namosh (together with Nic Romm ) and the Berlin band Puppetmastaz .

As an actor, Daniel Steiner has appeared in various commercials and some German blockbusters . Since 2012 he has played the role of laboratory assistant Lorenz Rettig in the TV series SOKO Leipzig .

Daniel Steiner lives in Berlin.
