Daniel Wald

Daniel Wald (born February 25, 1982 in Merseburg ) is a German politician of the AfD and has been a member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt since 2018 .

Life

Wald attended secondary school until 1998 and then completed an apprenticeship as a chef, which he completed in 2001. He then worked briefly in system catering . From 2002 to 2004 he did voluntary military service with Fighter-Bomber Squadron 32 of the German Air Force . After completing further vocational training in 2008 and obtaining the extended secondary school leaving certificate, he worked as a healthcare professional until 2009. According to the company's own information, “freelance” activities followed from 2010 to 2015. From 2016 to 2018 he worked in Willi Mittelstädt's constituency office .

Wald is single and lives in Merseburg.

Wald joined the AfD in 2015 and was a member of the Junge Alternative from 2016 to 2018 . He has been treasurer of the AfD Saalekreis district association since 2016 and chairman of the AfD local group in Merseburg since 2017. He is part of the right wing of the party and has been a member of the völkisch - nationalist " Patriotic Platform " around Hans-Thomas Tillschneider since 2016 .

On April 16, 2018, he moved to the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt via the state list of the AfD for MP Andreas Mrosek , who had renounced his mandate .
