Daniel Zeaiter (born March 30, 1995 in Bad Homburg ) is a German - Lebanese soccer goalkeeper .

Career

In his youth, Zeaiter played for SG Ober-Erlenbach, SG Rosenhöhe, SV Darmstadt 98 and 1. FSV Mainz 05 . For the 2014/15 season he was promoted from the U-19 team to the second team of the FSV and made his debut under coach Sandro Schwarz in the goalless draw against VfL Osnabrück on October 31, 2015. He represented the regular goalkeeper Jannik Huth , who was in the squad as a substitute goalkeeper at the away game of the first team against FC Augsburg . The coach of the first team, Martin Schmidt , appointed him as a substitute goalkeeper in the first team's squad for the second leg against FC Augsburg on April 2, 2016. In the 4-2 victory of Mainz, he remained without commitment.

For the 2016/17 season he moved to the second division relegated MSV Duisburg . He played his first league game for the "Zebras" on November 25, 2017, when he came on as a substitute for the injured Mark Flekken in the second division match at SSV Jahn Regensburg (0: 4) . When his contract expired, he left the club in summer 2018 and switched to Alemannia Aachen . After a season without a club, he moved to the Hessen division FC Eddersheim in summer 2020 .
