Jannik Huth (born April 15, 1994 in Bad Kreuznach ) is a German soccer goalkeeper . He is under contract with SC Paderborn 07 .

Career

society

In 2007 Huth moved from Hassia Bingen to the junior performance center of 1. FSV Mainz 05 . From 2013 he was used for the second team and from 2014 was also in the first team's squad. His contract runs until 2020. On April 8, 2017, after an injury to regular goalkeeper Jonas Lössl in the 1-0 defeat against SC Freiburg, he made his debut for the Mainz first team in the Bundesliga.

At the end of January 2018 it was awarded to Sparta Rotterdam until the end of the season . After 14 appearances in the league and the team's relegation after relegation, he returned to Mainz 05 during the 2018 summer break.

After the 2018/19 season , Huth left FSV after twelve years and signed a contract with Bundesliga promoted SC Paderborn 07 until June 2022.

National team

Huth was in the DFB squad for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro , where he won the silver medal with the team. He played two games for the German U21 national team .

Awards

On November 1, 2016, he was awarded the Silver Laurel Leaf together with the Olympic soccer team .
