Dennis Jastrzembski (born February 20, 2000 in Rendsburg ) is a German - Polish soccer player . The left winger has been under contract with SC Paderborn 07 as a loan player from Hertha BSC since the end of January 2020 .
Career
societies
Jastrzembski comes from the youth of TSV Kropp and came over Holstein Kiel for season 2015/16 for B Youth (U17) from Hertha BSC . Hertha he played in the seasons 2015/16 and 2016/17 in the Junior B league . For the 2017/18 season, Jastrzembski was promoted to the A-Youth (U19), for which he had already played twice (one goal) in the previous season and with which he became A-Junior Champion in 2018 .
For the 2018/19 season Jastrzembski received his first professional contract and moved up to the professional squad of Pál Dárdai . Under Dárdai he made 5 substitutions in the Bundesliga and a substitution in the DFB Cup . Jastrzembski also played mainly in the U19s, for which he was last eligible to play this season, in the A-Juniors Bundesliga and the UEFA Youth League . In addition, he came to two appearances in the second team in the fourth-class Regionalliga Nordost .
In the summer preparation for 2019, Jastrzembski was sorted out by the new head coach Ante Čović and transferred to the second team. Even under the new coach Jürgen Klinsmann , Jastrzembski did not play a role, who did not travel to the winter training camp and stayed with the second team. After 11 regional league appearances in which he scored a goal, Jastrzembski moved on loan to the newly promoted Bundesliga SC Paderborn 07 for a year and a half at the end of January 2020 . By the end of the 2019/20 season, he made 6 Bundesliga appearances (once from the start) under head coach Steffen Baumgart and was relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga with the team .
National team
Jastrzembski completed a total of 8 international matches for Polish youth national teams in 2015. Since February 2016 he has been through the DFB youth selection . Jastrzembski played with the U17 national team in May 2017 at the U17 European Championship in Croatia and reached the semi-finals with them . In October 2017 , he and the team took part in the U17 World Cup in India , where the team made it to the quarter-finals . On March 26, 2018, Jastrzembski played his first game for the U18 national team in the 4-2 defeat against France .
