Streli Mamba, actually Strely Mamba , (born June 17, 1994 in Göppingen ) is a German - Congolese football player who is used as a striker . He is under contract with SC Paderborn 07 .

Career

In his youth, Mamba first played in small local clubs. During this time he also gained experience in the youth departments of VfB Stuttgart , Karlsruher SC and 1. FC Kaiserslautern . In 2012 he moved to FC 08 Homburg , for which he was used three times in the Regionalliga Südwest . Mamba was then signed by SV Göppingen in 2013 and TSV Grunbach for the winter break in 2014 . For TSV Grunbach he played twelve games in the major league and scored three goals. During the summer break, Mamba switched to league competitor SGV Freiberg . There he was able to draw attention to himself with nine goals and seven assists in 27 completed league games, which is why he was signed in 2015 by SV Sandhausen , whose second team also played in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg . There, too, Mamba showed a good performance with five assists and ten goals in 34 games.

In 2016 he joined the third division relegated Energie Cottbus . In the 2016/17 Regionalliga season , he scored eight goals in 32 games. He also won the state cup with Energie Cottbus; in the final against FSV Luckenwalde he scored a goal himself and prepared one. In the following season 2017/18 he had a share of 1st place with 20 goals and eight assists in 26 completed games. In the two promotion games to the 3rd division against Weiche Flensburg , he scored a goal. He won the state cup again with Energie Cottbus.

After promotion, Mamba made his debut in the 3rd division on July 29, 2018, when he was in the starting line-up in a 3-0 win against Hansa Rostock on matchday 1 and prepared two goals. His first two goals came in a 2-0 win on matchday two against SV Wehen Wiesbaden . At the end of the season he could not keep the class with energy and was the most accurate player of the team with 11 goals.

SC Paderborn 07 , who had been promoted to the Bundesliga , became aware of his achievements and signed him for the 2019/20 season , the striker received a three-year contract. There he was in the starting line-up on matchday 1 and scored his first Bundesliga goal in the 3-2 defeat against Bayer Leverkusen .
