Dennis Srbeny (born May 5, 1994 in Berlin ) is a German football player . The striker has been under contract with SC Paderborn 07 since January 2020 .

Career

In the summer of 2013, Srbeny moved to the Oberliga Nordost for Hansa Rostock's second team after completing his training at Tennis Borussia Berlin and Hertha Zehlendorf . There he quickly developed into a regular player. On February 15, 2014 Srbeny made his debut in the 3rd division for the first team in the 0-1 defeat against 1. FC Heidenheim ; he came on in the 87th minute for Alexandre Mendy . In the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern-Pokal 2014/15 the midfielder scored a hat trick in the first round against Lübzer SV with the goals to 7-0, 8-0 and 9-0 and thus his first competitive goals for the professional team of Hansa Rostock .

In the summer of 2015, Srbeny moved to the Regionalliga Nordost for BFC Dynamo , where he received a two-year contract. For the 2017/18 season, he signed a contract with third division club SC Paderborn 07, which ran until 2019 .

After nine goals and eleven assists for SC Paderborn in 15 games in the first half of the season, he joined English second division Norwich City in January 2018 , with whom he received a three-and-a-half year contract and met the German head coach Daniel Farke . In the 2018/19 season , Srbeny celebrated the second division championship with Norwich and rose to the Premier League . The German played a total of 43 competitive games for the Canaries (five goals, one assist).

On January 8, 2020, the attacker returned to SC Paderborn 07, which is now playing in the Bundesliga . With Ostwestfalen, he signed a league-independent contract that ran until June 30, 2022.
