For the 2019/20 season , his youth club Borussia Dortmund signed the midfielder for his second team . In January 2020, Führich and his teammate Steffen Tigges were able to take part in the first team's winter training camp in Marbella . As a regular, he was deployed variably in midfield and on the offensive wings, only missed one league game until the end of the season due to the COVID-19 pandemic and was one of the team's most effective offensive players with 14 points.
