Daniela Frank

Daniela Frank (* 1962 in Munich ) is a German Catholic journalist and managing director of the Catholic Media Council (CAMECO) in Aachen .

Life

Frank studied philosophy and communication science in Munich and Münster . In 1994 she received her doctorate from the Munich University of Philosophy . She sat in on the SFB and SDR and worked as a freelance journalist. Since 2002 she has been working for the Catholic Media Council (CAMECO) in Aachen, the advisory office of the church aid agencies for media projects in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Central and Eastern Europe . She was initially a Latin America representative and has been the managing director since 1999.

She is a member of the Community of Christian Life and was world president of this Ignatian -influenced association of believers from 2003 to 2013 .

In 2014, Pope Francis appointed her as a senior international expert in a newly formed commission for reforming the Vatican media, chaired by Chris Patten .
