Daniela Kerin

Daniela Krein ( pseudonym : Johannes Langenfeld , born February 11, 1897 in Osterfeld near Oberhausen ; † December 11, 1986 in Hattingen ) was a German religious sister and writer .

Life

Daniela Kerin worked as an educator and pastor's assistant before she joined the sister community of the Divine Child Friend founded by Theresia Albers in Bredenscheid in 1928 (later sisters to testify to the love of Christ ) . As a religious sister, Kerin mainly devoted himself to caring for girls with learning disabilities . In addition, there was an extensive literary work with a distinctly Catholic tendency, which, in addition to novels and stories for girls and women, also includes biographies , plays and educational and life guides. Daniela Krein spent her twilight years in the order's own "House Nazareth" in Ittenbach near Königswinter . She was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon on December 22, 1969 .
