Daniela Zeiser (born September 12, 1983 ) is a former Austrian ski racer from Lassing in Styria . She attended the Schladming Ski School and started for the Lassing Ski Club. In 2000 she was accepted into the ÖSV squad.

biography

Zeiser drove her first FIS race in November 1998, the first victory followed three years later in the giant slalom in Bad Hofgastein . She competed in the European Cup for the first time in January 2000, and celebrated her first victory in the slalom in the Sierra Nevada on March 13, 2004. In the 2004/05 season , she achieved third place with one win and nine further placements among the top ten Place in the overall European Cup ranking and also finished third in the Super-G ranking. In the 2006/07 season she was second in the super combination classification in the European Cup.

In the World Cup , she started for the first time on December 29, 2004 in the slalom at Semmering , where she finished 27th. In the 2006/07 season , the first top 20 results then followed in the giant slalom. Her best World Cup placement to date was achieved on February 24, 2007 in the giant slalom in the Sierra Nevada with ninth place.

When training camp of the Austrian Ski Team in August 2007 in New Zealand fell Zeiser during downhill training hard and put on a cross - and side ligament in his left knee. She had to pause the entire 2007/08 season .

In spring 2008 she announced her retirement from active ski racing due to pregnancy.
