Daniele De Paoli
Daniele De Paoli (born December 8, 1973 in Pavia ) is a former Italian cyclist .
In 1998 Daniele De Paoli finished eighth overall at the Giro d'Italia . The following year he was able to achieve this placement again. In 2000 he finished eighth in the Klasika Primavera , and later that fall he finished ninth in the championship of Zurich . In the 2006 season, Da Paoli won the Swiss one-day race Giro del Mendrisiotto .
After a raid on the 2001 Giro d'Italia , De Paoli was banned for six months for possessing growth hormones. After he was banned again in 2002, this time for three years, he gave up cycling.
