Danilo Asconeguy , full name Danilo Asconeguy Ruiz , (born September 4, 1986 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .
Career
society
According to his club, 1.74 meters tall defensive player Asconeguy was under contract with Club Atlético Progreso from 2006 to 2008 . In 2006 he rose with his club as champion of the Segunda División in Uruguay's top division and was one of the substitutes in that season at least in the first final game against Juventud . In the first division he came in the 2006/07 season and in the Clausura 2008 to 25 missions and scored four goals in these three half-series. No data are available for Apertura 2007. He played in the 2008/09 season for Club Atlético Peñarol , met there in 18 appearances twice in the Primera División and was also set up twice in the Copa Libertadores . In the 2009/10 season he made 24 league games for Club Atlético Cerro . He has also made six appearances in the Copa Libertadores at Cerro. In the following season he played twelve games for Defensor Sporting in Uruguay's top division and four games in the Copa Sudamericana . He returned to Cerro in September 2011. There he completed another ten first division matches in the 2011/12 season. In January 2013 he joined the Ecuadorian club Club Social y Deportivo Macará , for which he played 16 times in the league. He then moved to Apertura 2013 for the Uruguayan first division club El Tanque Sisley . There he was used nine times in the 2013/14 season (one goal). At the end of March 2015, he joined the second division club Deportivo Maldonado . In the 2015 Clausura he was used there eleven times (no goal) in the league. At the end of July 2015, he joined Maldonado's league rivals Boston River . For the Montevideans, he played eleven league games (no goal) by the end of the 2015/16 season. At the beginning of March 2017, Progreso signed him again. During the current 2017 season he has so far (as of August 12, 2017) played in six second division games (no goal).
National team
At least in June 2007 Asconeguy was a member of Uruguay 's U-23 team, which was overseen by Roland Marcenaro .
