Danutė Bekintienė
Danutė Bekintienė (born February 27, 1944 in Puvočiai , Varėna district ) is a Lithuanian conservative politician , former Seimas member.
Life
She finished primary school in Puvočiai near Varėna and studied at Marcinkonys secondary school . After that she graduated from the 1st Youth Labor High School in Vilnius and in 1967 the diploma studies in biology and chemistry at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the Vilniaus valstybinis universitetas . From 1967 to 1969 she worked at the Kristijonas Donelaitis Middle School in Kybartai ( Vilkaviškis district ). From 1997 to 2004 she headed the Karoliniškės District of the Vilnius City Council . From 2000 to 2003 she was a member of the Vilnius City Council and from 2004 to 2012 a member of the Seimas . Since November 2016 she has been a member of the Vilnius City Council again .
Since 1993 she has been a member of the Tėvynės sąjunga (Lietuvos konservatoriai).
