Danis Luis "Dany" Quintero Chevans (born December 10, 1984 in Cienfuegos ) is a Cuban football goalkeeper .

Quintero was active for Cienfuegos , the national team of his home province, with which he won the national championship in 2008 and 2009, and played in the Cuban national team . In 2002 he was part of the Cuban U-20 squad when qualifying for the 2003 Junior World Cup was narrowly missed. As a result, he moved up to the senior national team and finished third with the team at the 2007 Caribbean Nations Cup . At the subsequent CONCACAF Gold Cup 2007 he was substitute goalkeeper and was in four games of the 2010 World Cup qualifying in Cuba. He was also part of the team at the CFU Caribbean Cup 2008 , when the Cuban national team qualified for the CONCACAF Gold Cup again by finishing fourth, but the Cuban association withdrew the team from the finals.

After he left the national team during a training camp in Germany in July 2009, he looked for a new home club, including via YouTube . He briefly trained at the Portuguese club CA Valdevez. In February 2010 it became known that the SV Nollingen , district league team from the German district league B Hochrhein , had signed the goalkeeper. At the start of the second half of the season on March 7, 2010, in a catch-up game at SV Herten in Rheinfelden , he was in the goal of the South Baden for the first time . In the summer of 2012 he then left SV Nollingen and joined the southern Baden association league club SV Weil . After he only avoided the bench as a substitute goalkeeper in the first three months, he returned to SV Nollingen on September 20, 2012. After he initially wanted to take a break due to studies in the summer of 2013, he decided on June 19, 2013 to switch to the district league promoted FSV Rheinfelden , with whom he made it through to the Baden regional league in 2014 .
