The Daoulas is a French river in the Côtes-d'Armor department , in the Brittany region . It rises north of Saint-Mayeux and flows 19 kilometers east of Gouarec as a left tributary into the Blavet . Just before its mouth, it breaks through a ridge and forms the imposing Gorges du Daoulas gorge .
