Darja Ptschelnik ( Belarusian Дар'я Пчэльнік , Russian Дарья Пчельник , English transcription Darya Pelteik ; born December 20, 1981 in Hrodna ) is a Belarusian hammer thrower .

At the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki in 2005 , she was eliminated in qualification.

In 2008 she increased her personal record over the previous season by more than five meters to 76.33 m, achieved on June 29 in Minsk . At the Olympic Games in Beijing , she was third with 73.65 m after her compatriot Aksana Mjankowa was stripped of the gold medal. In 2017, however, a subsequent analysis found that Ptschelnik was also doped at the 2008 Olympic Games. The IOC therefore retroactively disqualified her from the 2008 Olympic Games.
