Darja Sergejewna Samochina ( Russian Дарья Сергеевна Самохина , English Daria Samokhina ; born August 12, 1992 in Tolyatti ) is a Russian handball player .

Career

Darja Samochina ran from 2007 on for GK Lada Tolyatti , where she was later used in the highest Russian league. With Lada, she won the EHF Cup in 2014 . The outside player also reached the final of the European Cup Winners' Cup in 2016 . In the summer of 2017, she moved to league rivals GK Astrachanotschka .

Samochina is part of the Russian national team . In 2017 she took part in the World Cup with Russia . A year later she won the silver medal at the European Championships .
