The Dark Water is a river in Hampshire , England . The headwaters are in the New Forest . It has no clear source, but is formed from the draining water of Flash Pond and Stonyford Pond, which is then dammed in Mill Pond west of Hardley and flows south through Lepe Country Park . The Dark Water flows into the Solent .
