Darrick Leonard Vaughn (* 2. October 1978 in Houston , Texas ) is a former American American football poker players on the position of the cornerbacks . He played in the National Football League (NFL) from 2000 to 2003 and went to Texas State University .

In the 2000 NFL Draft , Vaughn was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the seventh round in 211th place. During his time with the Falcons, he was used sparingly as a defensive back. However, he drew attention to himself as a kick returner . He scored three kick-return touchdowns in his first season with the Falcons, and another in his second season. He holds the franchise record for the Falcons with the most kick-off-return touchdowns.

Houston Texans

For the 2003 season , Vaughn signed a contract with the Houston Texans . Here, too, he only played a sporadic role on the defensive. After the season he retired from active football.
