Yannic Lippe (born June 23, 1993 in Hagen ) is a German actor .

Career

Yannic Lippe was born in 1993 in Hagen, where he graduated from the Theodor-Heuss-Gymnasium in 2012. In the summer of 2013 he began a two-year acting course at the Cologne Film Acting School. He then took two more years of contemporary dance lessons with Irene Ebel, a former guest dancer of Pina Bausch . With Oklahoma , Lippe shot his first short film at the beginning of his studies under the direction of Kate Dervishi and Isabel Kleefeld at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne . 2014 he took the pseudonym Y Brain the rap -Song toothpaste smile on. In cooperation with a team from the SAE Institute Bochum, a music video was created under the direction of his twin brother Frederic Lippe. The latter cast Dominik Lippe, Joachim Gresch and Yannic Lippe in the lead role of his graduation film Der Student von Bochum , which premiered in March 2015 at the Metropolis Kino in Bochum.

In 2017 his second music video, Crest White District Anthem (toothpaste smile 2) , was released, for which he used the instrumental produced by Alexis Troy for Kollegah's Red Light District Anthem from Chronicle 3 . With a remix created by Philipp Sonnack especially for this purpose, the video took part in the short film competition Zahn gut - alles gut by ProDente. In mid-November, the contribution reached third place in the competition. From 2017, Lippe took on the role of Richard in two episodes of the RTL series Der Lehrer . At the end of 2018 he shot the short film Isolation under the direction of Julie Griebau . On January 2, 2019, Yannic Lippe was seen in the TV film Marie Brand and the Charm of Violence on ZDF . 7.56 million viewers saw the premiere of the 24th episode of the crime series. This was followed by the short film Be (er) a Hero with a team from the Stuttgart Media University . The project received the Gold Winner 2019 award in the Digital Effects category at the International Independent Film Awards and the Best Student Film award at the Bristol Independent Film Festival.
