Darryl Bevon Roberts (born September 26, 1983 in Saint Joseph ) is a football player from Trinidad and Tobago . He scored the earliest goal in the top Turkish league, the Süper Lig , with Denizlispor on November 29, 2008 with 12 seconds .

Career

Roberts played for the youth teams of Fatima College and Liberty Flames in his youth . He then started professional football at Carolina Dynamo and in 2006 moved to Sparta Rotterdam in the Netherlands . After one and a half years for this club, he moved to Denizlispor in the Turkish Süper Lig . Roberts succeeded during a Süper Lig game on November 29, 2008 against Eskişehirspor with his goal in the 12th second, the earliest goal in the history of the Süper Lig. After two years he rose with Denizlispor in the TFF 1. Lig and played another season for the club.

With the expiry of his contract with Denizlispor in the summer of 2011, he left the club and moved to the Charlotte Eagles . After just one season he returned to Turkey and hired the second division team Samsunspor . In the summer of 2013 Roberts left the club prematurely. From 2014 he played in Thailand, from 2017 in the Philippines.
