Dary Reis (also Dary Reiz , born February 12, 1926 in Santa Maria , Rio Grande do Sul , † December 26, 2010 in Rio de Janeiro ) was a Brazilian actor .

Life

Reis played his first role in 1948 in the drama Mãe . Many roles in Brazilian telenovelas, series and movies followed. Reis also played important roles in several international films, such as the 1984 action comedy Four Fists Against Rio with Bud Spencer and Terence Hill . But his focus remained in South America, especially Brazil. There he soon became one of the most famous television faces; the characters he portrayed were mostly strong, often dark heroes with a dark past. He became internationally known through the series Die Sklavin Isaura , which was filmed in 1976, but was not broadcast in Europe and Asia until after 1986. As a member of the ensemble for this series, he was one of the first Western actors to appear on Chinese television. Until 2005, Reis regularly played roles in TV and films. B. at the age of 79 he portrayed a bandit in the series Bang-Bang .

Reis died in Rio de Janeiro at the age of 84.
