Darzau is a district of the municipality of Neu Darchau in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district in Lower Saxony . The village is located south of the core area of Neu Darchau on the L 231 state road and on Kateminer Mühlenbach , a left tributary of the Elbe .

On July 1, 1972, Darzau was incorporated into the community of Neu Darchau.
