Quarstedt is a district of the municipality of Neu Darchau in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district in Lower Saxony . The village is located south of the core area of Neu Darchau between the east-running state road L 231 and the Kateminer Mühlenbach , a left tributary of the Elbe .

On July 1, 1972 Quarstedt was incorporated into the community of Neu Darchau.
