action

Platform 13 of King's Cross Station in London has been closed for 40 years. Conversions always fail inexplicably. The reason: The platform is guarded by ghosts, because this is where the access to "the island", the Gügel, is located every nine years for nine days.

An accident happened on the last day. The three child sisters who are supposed to take care of the three-month-old island prince are kidnapped. In time for the next Gügel opening, four rescuers are selected and sent to London. The four rescuers are an old wizard, a fairy, a one-eyed giant and a little witch named Lex. You must find the child and bring it back to its rightful parents before the gate closes again or the king orders the stinking harpies to succeed to fetch. The foggy animals, extremely likeable animals, play a not insignificant role in this book.
