Sabine Ludwig
Sabine Ludwig (born June 26, 1954 in Berlin ) is a German writer and translator .
Life
She studied German , Romance studies and philosophy . After her state examination, she worked for a short time as a high school teacher, then as assistant director, press officer and most recently as radio editor for the SFB or rbb , which was one of the first to be responsible for the " Ohrbär " series .
In 1983 she appeared for the first time as an author and was immediately awarded a literary prize. At the beginning of 1987, she was able to introduce her own episode figure in the “Ohrbär” series, which was followed by many more in a total of 16 series so far.
Sabine Ludwig now mainly publishes children's books and also works as a freelance journalist for radio and various print media . In 2002 and 2005, two children's books that she translated from English were nominated for the German Youth Literature Prize.
Sabine Ludwig lives with her family in Berlin. She has a daughter.
