The language craft book
The language craft book is a children's book from Austria published in 1975 . In 2005 a new edition was published, which was adapted to the new German spelling (in addition, schillings were changed to euro amounts).
The authors Hans Domenego , Ernst A. Ekker , Vera Ferra-Mikura , Friedl Hofbauer , Hilde Leiter , Mira Lobe , Lene Mayer-Skumanz , Christine Nöstlinger , Brigitte Peter , Käthe Recheis and Renate Welsh created an abc of swear words for this book, curious Farmer's rules and foolish advertising slogans, puzzles, limericks and game instructions, shaking rhymes , kangaroo words, poems, palindromes , mirror writing texts etc.
The book was illustrated by Gerri Zotter .
In 2008 Das neue Spr chb stelb ch was published , edited by Rosa Maria Plattner . The book by the authors Gerda Anger-Schmidt , Käthe Recheis , Friedl Hofbauer , Edith Schreiber-Wicke and Franz Sales Sklenitzka is based on the concept of the original.
