Davíd Garza Pérez (born June 22, 1988 in Monterrey ) is a retired Mexican racing driver .

Career

Garza Pérez began his motorsport career in karting , in which he was active from 2004 to 2005. In 2006 he moved into the single-seater racing and entered the US Formula BMW at. He finished two races on the podium and was tenth in the drivers' championship. In 2007 Garza Pérez moved to the Atlantic Championship for US RaceTronics . With two eighth places as the best results, he was 17th in the drivers' championship. In the winter of 2007/2008 , Garza Pérez was an A1GP pilot for the Mexican team . He took part in five events as an emergency driver and was therefore the pilot with the most missions from his team. Eighth place was his best position.

In 2008 Garza Pérez moved to Forsythe Racing in the Atlantic Championship . In five races he had to pause due to injury. He sustained a hip injury in a training accident. With a fifth place as the best result, he was finally 13th in the overall ranking. In addition, Garza Pérez took part in a Euroseries 3000 event for Sighinolfi Autoracing . He won a race in the process. In the winter of 2008/2009 , Garza Pérez took part in two A1GP race weekends before he was replaced by Salvador Durán . Garza Pérez did not score any points. In summer 2009 he took part in two races of the Atlantic Championship for Jensen MotorSport .

Garza Pérez has not participated in any international racing series since 2010.
