Daverden (Low German Dabern) is located about 30 km southeast of Bremen and belongs to stains Langwedel in Verden in Lower Saxony .

On July 1, 1972, Daverden was incorporated into the area Langwedel.

In the village, on the Geestrücken, is the compact brick church of St. Sigismund , which dates back to the end of the 12th century .

Economy and Transport

Daverden borders directly to the west on the old center of Langwedel and has a good infrastructure with schools, restaurants and shops. To the north is the A27 with the Langwedel-Daverden service station. A motorway exit was set up next to this in 2011. The Bremen-Hanover railway line also runs through the local area. Due to the proximity of the Langwedel train station, there is no separate stop in Daverden.
