David Barmasai Tumo (* 1989 ) is a Kenyan marathon runner .

In 2009 Tumo won the Eldoret marathon at 2100 m in 2:16:00 h. The following year, also at high altitude, he won the Nairobi Marathon and increased his best to 2:10:31 h. However, he only became internationally known in 2011 when he won the Dubai Marathon in 2:07:18 h. It was his first race outside Kenya.

At the 2011 World Athletics Championships in Daegu, he was fifth in 2:11:39 h.
