David Bode

David Bode (born May 28, 1991 in Berlin-Steglitz ) is a former German child actor .

Life

David Bode lived in Berlin for two years , after which his family moved with him to Eisenach in Thuringia . He came to television through a regional newspaper advertisement in which actors for the then new ARD series Dr. Kleist were wanted. Since the beginning of 2003 he has been in front of the camera for the series, which was mainly produced in Eisenach, and played the role of Peter Kleist in the first three seasons .

In 2006 David Bode played the leading role of Jan in the film Der Schatz der Weiße Falken, produced by Sönke Wortmann . The film won several awards, including at the Hamburg Film Festival and the Chicago International Children's Film Festival, and was nominated for the German Film Prize. In November 2006, Bode received the EMO Film Prize of the Ruhr Area for the best acting performance of a child in a movie for his role as Jan.

Between July and September 2006 he was in front of the camera for the film Die Wilden Kerle 4 with Jimi Blue and Wilson Ochsenknecht , among others . The film was released in early 2007.

In autumn 2006 and summer 2007, Bode shot three children's crime stories with Miriam Cordelia Schweiger for the KRIMI.DE series , which were produced by MDR , among others . Most of the shooting took place in Jena . Both thrillers were broadcast in autumn 2007 on KiKA .
