David Broza ( Hebrew דויד ברוזה; * September 4, 1955 in Haifa ) is an Israeli singer and songwriter .

Live and act

Broza's music career began during his three years of military service, playing for cash injections in cafes and bars and recording a demo tape. His song Somehow became a super hit and his music career took its course. Numerous albums, singles and collaborations followed, for example with Jewish musicians or a live duet with ex- The Police front man Sting .

He has released various gold and platinum albums and is an established UNICEF ambassador . His musical style can largely be defined as folk pop with insertions from alternative rock .

The Israeli Broza is a globetrotter and lets his cultural experiences flow into his music. This includes influences from Irish , but above all Spanish music and lyrics. By 2006, 19 albums and two double DVDs have been released.

David Broza is co-founder of the peace village Neve Shalom / Wahat al-Salam .
