David Clay Diaz

David Clay Diaz (* 1989 in Asunción , Paraguay ) is a film director , producer and screenwriter of American and Peruvian descent.

Life

David Clay Diaz was born in Asunción , Paraguay and spent the first years of his life in Lima , Peru . He later followed his mother, Antonia Lucia Diaz del Pastor, to Vienna where he studied philosophy. After David Clay Diaz had made a few short films, he began studying directing at the Munich University of Television and Film in 2010 . In 2016 David Clay Diaz presented his film Agonie at the Berlinale , which was nominated for Best First Feature . He acted as director, producer and screenwriter on this film.
