David Coromina

David Coromina Pararols (born September 9, 1974 in Santa Pau ) is a Spanish football player . Coromina is a defender and played his first professional season with the third team of FC Barcelona . He is 1.81 m tall and weighs 78 kg.

Career

David Coromina is a defender who can be used as both a center- back and a left-back. His learned position, however, is the right-back position.

FC Barcelona

Coromina played in the youth team of FC Barcelona and received a professional contract with the Catalans third team in 1995 . In 1996, the right-back made his first appearance in Segunda División B , the third highest division in Spanish football .

Gimnastic de Tarragona

After a season in which the Spaniard also received his playing times in the second team, Coromina moved to Gimnàstic de Tarragona . There he was used 15 times and left Nàstic after just one season. His next stop was the Palamós FC .

Palamós FC

In Palamós , he was initially only in the third team, but good performance opened the door for him to the second team. After five years with the Catalans, Coromina decided in winter 2003 to move to the Spanish first division club Racing Santander .

Racing Santander

In Santander , the then 29-year-old celebrated his first division debut in the Primera División . On February 2, 2003, he received his first appearance in the game against Real Valladolid (1: 2). After half a year in northern Spain, Coromina moved to Deportivo Alavés in the summer of 2004 after playing 30 games .

Deportivo Alaves

At Deportivo, Coromina quickly found his way around, which is why he became a regular player and made 33 top division games. In the second season he could not be used due to an injury. In the following season, however, the experienced right-back was used 27 times. Despite some strong performances, he could not prevent El Glosorio's relegation to the Segunda División . In the second division season Coromina came to 20 league appearances, where he only completed three from the start.
