David Cromer

David Cromer (* 1965 in Illinois ) is an American actor and theater director .

Life

After graduating from Columbia College Chicago , Cromer became a stage actor in Chicago .

2005 Cromer made his debut as a theater director with the play Orson's Shadow by Austin Pendleton at the Barrow Street Theater . In 2008, his music adaptation The Adding Machine made the leap from Chicago to New York City as an off-Broadway production.

In 2009 and 2010, Cromer directed the plays David Cromer , a Tennessee Williams revival , and Our Little Town , a Thornton Wilder revival .

Cromer lives openly gay in New York City .
