David Hungate

David Hungate (born August 5, 1948 in Texas ) is an American bass guitarist and founding member of the Californian rock band Toto .

David Hungate is one of the six founding members of Toto (1977), but left at the height of the band's success (1982) and worked from then on as a session musician, among others. A. for Boz Scaggs , Greg Lake and Bryan Adams .

Before joining Toto, Hungate had already worked - also as a session musician - with well-known musicians such as Barbra Streisand and the Pointer Sisters .

For the tour in the USA in 2014 and for the European tour in 2015, David Hungate was hired as bassist, as the previous bassist Nathan East was prevented by other projects.
