David J. Kimball
David J. Kimball is a sound engineer .
Life
Kimball began his career in the late 1970s and had his film debut with the action comedy Stingray . With Blame It on Rio , One Crazy Summer and About Last Night , he worked on three early films of Demi Moore . 1981 he was responsible for Raging Bull , together with Donald O. Mitchell , Bill Nicholson and Les Lazarowitz for the Oscar in the category Best Sound but nominated, the award went this year to Irvin Kershners science fiction film The Empire Strikes Back .
In addition to his work in film, he was also involved in a few television productions towards the end of his career, including two television films in the Perry Mason series in 1987, his last work in the film and television business.
