David Jason

Sir David Jason (born February 2, 1940 in Edmonton , London ) is an English actor .

Life

Born as David John White, he took his stage name from his twin brother Jason White, who died in childbirth. On December 1, 2005, he was knighted by the Queen of England for his services as an actor. The series Edgar Briggs - Das As der Abwehr ran on German television in the 1980s. He was also seen as the leading actor in the last two Terry Pratchett films, Schweinsgalopp (as Albert) and The Color of Magic (as Rincewind). Otherwise he is best known for his roles in Great Britain .
