David Kimutai Too

David Kimutai Too (born August 23, 1968 - January 31, 2008 in Eldoret ) was a Kenyan politician of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM).

Prior to his political career, he was a middle school teacher and principal in Kericho . In 2007 he was elected to parliament with his party, which went into opposition . As a member of the Kalendjin , he supported Raila Odinga as a candidate in the 2007 presidential election .

He was shot dead in Eldoret within a few days during the unrest sparked by the 2007 presidential election, following Mugabe Were as the second opposition politician. His death probably had no political background. According to initial findings, he was killed together with his girlfriend in the course of a jealous drama by a rival, a traffic police officer.
