David Class
David Klass (born March 8, 1960 in Vermont ) is an American writer and screenwriter.
Life
Klass comes from a family of writers and grew up with his two sisters with his parents in New Jersey. He first studied history and literature at Yale University ; he completed his studies in 1982 as a BA . He then completed an MA at the USC School of Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California . As an English teacher, he taught in Atami ( Japan ) and wrote his first novel, The Atami Dragons , based on his experiences there . Klass lives as a book and screenwriter in New York . His youth novel When he comes, then we run has received numerous awards and has been nominated for the 2007 German Youth Literature Prize.
