David Labriola

David K. Labriola (born 1960 in Naugatuck , Connecticut ) an American lawyer and politician ( Republican Party ).

Life

David Labriola was born in 1960 in Naugatuck, the son of Jerry Labriola and his wife Lois. He grew up with two siblings and attended Naugatuck High School , where he graduated in 1978. He studied at Yale University , where he received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in 1982 . He then studied at the Law School of the University of Connecticut , where he received a Juris Doctor in 1985 .

From 1990 to 1993 he practiced in his own law firm in Naugatuck. In addition, he was Police Commissioner in Naugatuck from 1991 to 1993 . Labriola is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the Connecticut Criminal Defense Lawyers Association . In 1993 he founded the law firm Labriola and Labriola, LLC in Naugatuck with his brother Jerry Labriola Jr. From 1995 to 1997 he held the office of Town Attorney for the Borough of Naugatuck . In 2002 he was elected to the Connecticut House of Representatives for the 131st district and has been a member since 2003.

Labriola is married and has three children.
