David Cameron Lee (born March 8, 1982 in Alpine ) is an American volleyball player .

Career

Lee began his career in 2001 on the California State University, Long Beach team , where he played until 2004. In 2003 he made his debut for the US national team . In 2005, the middle blocker won the NORCECA championship with the US team . He then moved to Rennes Volley for one season before moving to Halkbank Ankara in Turkey . In 2007 he managed to defend his title at the continental championship. In 2008 the USA won the world league with Lee before they secured the gold medal in the final of the Olympic tournament against Brazil . The following season Lee played in the Italian league with Pallavolo Modena . After the runner-up at NORCECA, he moved to the Russian club VK Lokomotiv Novosibirsk in 2009 and to VK Kuzbass Kemerowo within the league in 2010 . In 2011 he was again second in the continental championship with the US team. He was then committed by VK Dynamo Moscow . With the new club, Lee won the CEV Cup in 2012 . He was in the squad for the London Olympics .
