David Julian Levi (born November 13, 1994 in New York ) is an American musician and actor . He was best known for his role as the keyboardist for the Naked Brothers Band (NBB) .

Life

Levi is one of the founding members of the "Silver Boulders" and the "Naked Brothers Band" . At the age of four he met Nat Wolff in preschool and founded the “Silver Boulders” with him and other friends . There he began to play the keyboard . He also plays the piano and guitar . The jazz pianist Michael Wolff , the father of Nat and Alex Wolff, aroused his first interest in playing the piano .

The Naked Brothers Band

At the age of ten, David Levi played the keyboard player in " The Naked Brothers Band: The Film " . Based on the film, the television series "The Naked Brothers Band" started on Nickelodeon in 2007 . From 2004 (the year in which the film was produced) until today, he has been a permanent member of the series. In Germany, the television series runs on Nick under the title: "The Naked Brothers Band: Young Rockstars Private" .

In his role as keyboardist for the Naked Brothers Band, Levi plays a shy and reserved boy. Nevertheless, he is up for any fun and cooks up the funniest pranks with his best friends Thomas and Qaasim. Like all characters in the mockumentary “The Naked Brothers Band”, this one is also based freely on the life of the real David Julian Levi.

Levi said in an interview:

"My character is sort of like me in a lot of ways, but in a lot of other ways we're very different." Translation: "In one respect my character is very much like me, but in other respects we are very different. "

Levi's name appears in the lyrics of one of the Nacked Brothers Band songs. In “Great Trip”, Nat Wolff describes a trip to an amusement park with his friend “David Julian Levi” and what it is like to be a well-known rock star.

The Naked Brothers Band: The film won the 2005 Audience Award for Best Family Film at the Hamptons Internation Film Festival . In 2008 he was nominated for the Young Artist Award together with the other leading actors of the Naked Brothers Band .
