Perrins from the series The Birds of the Western Palearctic (BWP). In 1999 he illustrated a color plate with night swallows for the fifth volume of the Handbook of the Birds of the World . Together with Dominic Couzens , he published under the title ID Insights Pocket Cards: British Birds a set of ten identification cards in postcard size, on which 131 British bird species are shown.
