David Quammen

David Quammen (* 1948 in Cincinnati , Ohio ) is an American writer and science journalist . He studied literature at Yale University and the University of Oxford and was best known for his award-winning popular science works on natural history and evolution . He now lives in Bozeman , Montana .

David Quammen became an honorary member of the Sigma Xi Science Association in 2005. The feature film Walking Out (2017) was based on one of his short stories .
