David R. Adams

David Randolph Adams (* 1941 ) is an American mathematician who studies analysis .

Adams received his PhD in 1969 from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis with Norman George Meyers (Exceptional Sets for Bessel Potentials of Functions in ). He is a professor at the University of Kentucky .

He dealt in particular with potential theory and partial differential equations. He published a monograph on Morrey spaces, which play a role in the regularity theory of partial differential equations.
