David Reinhardt
David Reinhardt (born December 23, 1986 in Longjumeau , Île-de-France ) is a French guitarist of gypsy jazz .
Live and act
Reinhardt comes from a musical family. He is the son of Babik Reinhardt and the grandson of Django Reinhardt . At the age of six, he accompanied his father. Since then he has played in numerous formations of the genre, for example in Christian Escoudé's Trio Gitan (where he replaced his father on the album 20 Ans de Trio Gitan in 2008 ); he also appeared with Romane , Stochelo Rosenberg and Florin Niculescu . Since 2008 he has led his own trio with the organist Florent Gac and the drummer Yoann Serra . He also selected the music for the album Jazz manouche Vol. 6 . The French guitar maker Jean-Baptiste Castelluccia builds a guitar model named after him.
