Cristal Records is an independent music label founded in La Rochelle in 1996 .

Cristal Records was founded by the producer Éric Debègue (* 1967) deliberately as an alternative to the big recording companies and focused on jazz ; Cristal Production had existed as an artist collective since 1992 . At the same time there is a music publisher called Cristal Publishing . The catalog initially focused on jazz. The label has created several sub-labels for different genres: 10h10 for world music , song , hip-hop , electro , BOriginal for film music, Le label dans la Forêt , which publishes productions for a young audience; jazz continues to be marketed under Cristal Records . The label also presented collections such as B. Chansons Creoles (2012) or Cristal Records Presents Jazz Guitar (2016) and CD boxes, e.g. B. with female singers ( Les Prima Donna du Jazz , 2012).
